Contra-indications for Lift & Glow
Microcurrent devices that deliver safe, low frequency current can be used by most people without concern . However, there are the general guidelines for caution when considering using a microcurrent device.
Who should not use a Microcurrent Device?
- If you have a Pacemaker
(micro-current can potentially interfere with the functioning) - If you have metal implants, plates or pins
(micro-current can potentially heat up metal implants such as metal pins and plates) - If you have Epilepsy
- If you are Pregnant
- Usage of this device during and post treatment for any chronic disease should always be discussed with your doctor before use.
- Do not use for 2 weeks after Botox injections and fillers in the area you will treat.
Botox causes muscle relaxation, micro-current causes muscle contraction, so you might negate the effects of the Botox and filler. - Do not use over the thyroid area of the neck.
